As the Owner and Director of The JamLab Mobile Music School, Shira Farber is dedicated to providing a unique and personalized approach to musical education. With over two decades of experience in the social service sector and a passion for live music, Shira brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to her role.
Shira's background in working with children and families with complex needs, along with her training in working with those living with Attention Deficit Disorders, has equipped her with the skills to help guide and support students in their musical journey. Her extensive experience in various areas of the non-profit music world, including concert production, festival direction, and community events, has allowed her to bring a dynamic perspective to the school.

At The JamLab, Shira is responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, student retention initiatives, and program execution, as well as fostering partnerships with musical mentors. Her goal is to inspire students to follow their creative passions and find true joy in music making.

Shira's love for live music, combined with her personal experience raising three musical teenagers, has inspired her to create a music school that encourages students to explore their individual musical interests. The JamLab Mobile Music School is a realization of her lifelong dream and she is excited to share her passion for music with students of all ages and abilities.
